Only applications within the scope of compulsory internship are accepted for Gamelab Istanbul internship program. If the student will participate in the internship for more than one semester, at least one of them must be a compulsory internship. Students who will continue their internship for more than one semester are given priority in internship admission.


A. INTERNSHIP ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS

Only applications within the scope of compulsory internship are accepted for Gamelab Istanbul internship program. If the student will participate in the internship for more than one semester, at least one of them must be a compulsory internship. Students who will continue their internship for more than one semester are given priority in internship admission.

Students who will apply for software internship; Must be studying computer engineering, software engineering, computer programming, electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering or a related department.

Students who will apply for a design internship; Must be studying game design, graphic design, cartoon animation, visual design, visual communication or a related department.

Students who will apply for Public Relations internship; Must be studying public relations and promotion, advertising and marketing, business, economics or a related department.

In order for the internship application of the student to be accepted, the Internship Application Form must be completed and sent. If the internship application form is not filled in, the student is definitely not accepted for the internship.

At Gamelab Istanbul, priority is given to the applications of certificate holders who have previously completed an internship.

Priority is given to the applications of the students who have received game programming training from Gamelab Istanbul staff in trainings held by various public institutions.

Older internship applications naturally gain priority, as applications are recorded and evaluated in order of date.


B. INTERNSHIP APPLICATION FORM

All fields in the internship application form are required. All fields must be filled in truthfully.

While choosing "Class" in the education information section of the internship application form, the grade in which grade it is studied during the application should be marked. The class in the period of internship should not be marked.

When completing the internship application form, it is necessary to specify the periods of internship in the "Internship Period" section. In which semester(s) the student will attend the internship, only that semester(s) should be marked. The student must decide on the semesters to participate in the internship program. This issue should not be left to our choice. If several semesters are selected from here, it is considered that internship is desired for the x period AND y period, not the x period OR y period.

In some periods, additional offices that do not have computers can be allocated by our strategic partners. Therefore, students who can participate in the internship with their own computers are given priority in internship admission. (If the student who will participate in the internship with his / her own computer will do an internship in the field of software or design, his computer must have at least 8 GB of RAM.)
